JOY OF SHARING
DRSKIDS ,CEC Nallakunta Centre undertook the distribution of clothes and food to the needy on 14 th of November on the event of `Joy of Sharing`.The event was a major success in the local area which accounted for large number of participants.More than one hundred plus necessitous were recipients of packed food and clothes.
DRSKIDS ,Habsiguda Centre organized a Charity Funfare on 15 th of November on the event of `Joy of Sharing`.A huge sum of Rs 40000 was cumulated which was presented as a charity fund.
SPECIAL Parents Workshop
DRSKIDS Amaravathi Centre had organized a mega event with a huge gathering of 800 plus audience. The event focused on parenting and guidance by renowned psychologist Mr.Shyam Manav and was held at Sanskrithic Bhavan in the district of Amaravathi.The workshop was a accomplishment as the facilitator was an expertise in parental guidance and personality development.
Talent Search Competition
DRS KIDS ,Dilsuknagar & LBNagar Centreshave organized a day long event which was open to all on the 11 th of Jan at Babu Jag Jeevan Ram Auditorium, Dilsuknagar.The event was a `Talent Search ` competition where in any child between 2.5 – 10.5 years could take part.The kids were allowed to compete for the skills of oratory,dance,singing other than which there was a orchestra by the children of `Blind School `.In all there were approximately 40 participants and 200 plus gathering.
Spirit of India
DRSKIDS Amaravathi Centre had well thought-out a mega event with a huge gathering of 600 plus audience. It was a three –day-long event.A Drawing Competition was held for all children of Amaravathi district from the 26th of January.The Martyrs of the Mumbai CSC blasts ,whose family were invitees and were privileged to give away the Prizes and cash awards to the winners and participants.
The Corporate Office appreciates the effort behind the successful events at DRSKIDS . The Centre Head ,each team member and the Parents deserve a standing ovation in this regard.
SCHOOL IN FOCUS –BOWENPALLY CENTRE}
It's always pleasing to highlight schools that have shown initiative and creativity in making positive changes to Kids dwells and the wider DRS KIDS community. Our DRSKIDS Bowenpally Centre embarked almost a year back ,is in operation with a strength of 22 kids and four facilitators in four varied levels.
A cheerful lady , graduated in Arts, a very energetic administrator .A creative person , with a zeal to succeed she is at her best in creating a child friendly atmosphere.A great believer of child centric approaches , she show puts every activity at her centre marking a difference. She carries her eight long years of experience in handling primary kids at various institutions in trading with DRS Kids.
Ms.Ragini Reddy heads the DRSKIDS Bowenpally Centre with illustrious developmental with in a short span of a year.DRSKIDS to have her on board is proud .
